To The Sun
To The Sun is a 2D action game where you play as a light insect to help your buddy Vine, who lives at the bottom of an abandoned castle, see the sun. Keep Vine hydrated and watch out for dangers like birds, fire, and geckoes as you make your way up.
W / Up Arrow - Move Up

D / Right Arrow - Move Right

Thank you for your feedback! I’ve added arrow key controls, so you can use different fingers to press both W and the Up Arrow and still achieve the same upward movement. Now your fingers can take turns getting tired from spamming both keys! ;)

Crows appear out of nowhere! Frustrating
Sorry about that! The positions of the crows are fixed, so I assumed players would remember where they appear after retrying the game a few times. Do you think reducing their speed might help reduce the frustration? ; ;

How do I avoid birds? They touch any part of the vine and you lose.
You die only if the birds touch the light insect, so move faster! ;)
Make sure you stop to get your friend some water too! If you go too far trying to run, he'll get dehydrated and die.
